快速比特币（简称FBTC）已于比特币（BTC）区块高度501225（香港时间2017年12月27日14:55:44）分叉成功。在扩容问题上，FBTC有很大的创新。FBTC将区块链容量交给矿工调节，最低1M，最大10M，矿工每个区块需要投票，难度调整时同时调整区块容量限制。在交易效率问题上，FBTC采用账户模型取代UTXO的低效和冗余，在实现方式上采用硬分叉方式实现，一次性解决问题。FBTC采用DPOS共识机制，大大降低了POW的能源消耗，同时货币总量却不增发。
The fast bitcoin (FBTC) has been successfully split by the height of 501225 in the Bitcoin (BTC) area (14:55:44 Hong Kong time, 27 December 2017). FBTC has been very innovative on the issue of enlargement.
