9月24日，《关于进一步防范和处置虚拟货币交易炒作风险的通知》正式发布，其中指出，境外虚拟货币交易所通过互联网向我国境内居民提供服务属于非法金融活动。
On 24 September, the Circular on Further Prevention and Handling of the Risks of Fashioning Virtual Currency Transactions was officially published, stating that the services provided by the offshore Virtual Currency Exchange to residents in the country via the Internet are illegal financial activities.
消息一出，火币、币安和一众交易软件迅速清退。作为国内野鸡交易所之王的满币网，也决定永久关闭中国区服务。一时间，各类币值大跌，“挖矿”停滞。

其实早在2017年，币圈就经历过这样一次大地震，币圈首次公开发行代币（ICO）第一次被禁止。虚拟货币交易所面临着吊销金融执照的后果，有的交易所远走他乡，有的交易所则选择关停。

9月26日下午，火币网在公告中宣布清退细则。即日到2022年元旦，或成国内火币用户最后的交易时间。

消息一出，港股火币科技两天跌幅达到40%，近乎腰斩。而火币自己交易所内的交易盘平台币HT两天内下跌了近三分之二。

天下熙熙，皆为利来；天下攘攘，皆为利往。只要有利可逐，赌徒们又将涌向下一个赌场。
The world is good for all, and the world is good for all. As long as it is good for all, the gamblers will rush to the next casino.
