1、BFT+DPOS的共识机制。在BM发布的EOSdawn4.0中说到EOS采取的是BFT+DPOS的共识机制。DPOS类似于美国的议会制度，每个超级节点类似于议会的议员，超级节点总共21名，由所有持有EOS的人共同投票选出，而这个“议会”对于EOS整个生态有着极大的决定权利，如果要实施某个方案，需要超级节点中15票通过，才能实施。而加上BFT拜占庭容错的原因是可以提高系统的安全性和稳定性。

BFT-DPOS的容错水平是1/3，只有多于1/3的区块生产者对全网进行恶意攻击时，网络才有可能出现分叉。而依据DPOS，可以计算确定哪些验证者需要对攻击负责，进而可以摧毁它们的权益代币并将其从网络中剔除，从而防止分叉产生。
The BFT-DPOS tolerance level is one-third, and only when more than one-third of block producers engage in malicious attacks on the entire network can the network appear fork. According to the DPOS, it is possible to calculate which certifiers are responsible for the attack, thereby destroying their equity tokens and removing them from the network, thus preventing the fork from being created.
2、交易免费。在使用以太坊时转账时需要支付一定的燃料费gas，而EOS拥有一定的通胀特性，通过每年增发最多5%的EOS来奖励超级节点，这样，用户在交易时就不需要向节点支付矿工费用。对比以太坊拥堵时动勿几十元甚至上百元的矿工费，这对于用户来说也颇具吸引力。
2. Transactions are free of charge. The cost of fuel is covered by gas when transfers are made in Etheria, while EOS has a certain inflation character, which rewards the supernode by adding up to 5% to EOS per year, so that users do not have to pay the node for the miner at the time of the transaction.

In the new model, the blocks are created by the API sequence applied to the block. This ensures that the same code path is followed and minimizes the likelihood of inconsistencies between producers and verifiers in confirming their validity.
