Internet of Things (IoT) provides the efficient building blocks for data collection and aggregation. Ways to measure IoT performance will be crucial to the development of IoT solution, in particular for smart cities. At this point, there is NO universal standard on smart sensors nor quantitative methods to measure IoT performance (and thus combat IoT security). This talk will brief the use and applications of IEEE P2668 IoT Maturity Index (IDex) and the migration towards IoT Best Practices for the industry.

After the recent years of exploration and development, enterprise Blockchain applications have steadily been evolving into full production while many new applications continue to evolve. Andrew Hon is the Founder & Chief Technology Officer of CryptoBLK Limited, leading technological Blockchain development for various Blockchain enterprise production-grade applications, including the consortium global trade finance Blockchain application, Contour, Atlas Elite and first Asia motor insurance Blockchain application, MIDAS.Before founding CryptoBLK, he was the former Head of Blockchain Core Competence Group at Hong Kong Applied Science and Research Institute (ASTRI), largest R&D center in Hong Kong, overseeing Blockchain research and development. Commissioned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Andrew co-authored the “Whitepaper on Distributed Ledger Technology”; the first blockchain technical whitepaper for Hong Kong. Andrew is a Blockchain guru with over 20 years of experience in software development and management both in Hong Kong and United States. Prior to the creation of CryptoBLK, he worked at Hong Kong's most advanced research and development centre, the Hong Kong Institute of Science, which is responsible for the development of chain core research and technology in Hong Kong, overseeing the development of chain-related projects in the Hong Kong Academy. Andrew was also commissioned by the Hong Kong Financial Services Authority to write the first White Book of Distributed Accountboard Technology in Hong Kong. In addition to the rich chain development experience, Andrew has more than 20 years of software development and management experience in Hong Kong and the United States of America, and has a variety of development expertise.

Eva is a Partner of the Risk Advisory in Deloitte China - Hong Kong office. She has over 20 years of experience in the information system industry during where she worked in Deloitte Toronto for 4 years and transferred to Deloitte Hong Kong for more than 14 years.Eva is the APAC Cyber FSI Leader. She focuses on Technology & Cyber risk consulting and implementation service including Cyber strategy, Fintech governance and risk management, application, infrastructure and cloud security, data privacy and protection. In addition she also leads technology risk regulatory assessment from HKMA, vulnerability assessment, privacy assessment (e.g. PD(P)O or General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Joined Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) in 2018, Mr Edmond Lai is the Chief Digital Officer leading in the digital transformation, robotics and artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and Mainland business of the HKPC. Mr Lai is an expert in Industry 4.0 (i4.0) and Enterprise 4.0 (e4.0) business transformation, as well as digital product development, with experience in local and overseas market development.Prior to joining HKPC, Mr Lai worked in General Electric (GE) for more than 20 years. He successfully completed the management trainee programme in the information technology department of the multinational company, and then had also served in their internal audit and finance functions. He also spearheaded his expertise across other business units, such as aviation, capital, healthcare, plastics, power, transportation, etc., among various regions including Greater China, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, the United States, etc. He also assumed regional and global responsibilities to drive the business growth for various industries, such as energy storage, mining, marine, rail, renewable energy, thermal power generation, etc.Mr Lai held the Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) and Master of Philosophy (Computer Science) degrees from the University of Hong Kong.黎少斌先生於2018年加入生產力局，現任首席數碼總監，帶領團隊開拓數碼轉型、機械人及人工智能、智能製造、和內地業務的發展，是工業4.0 (i4.0) 和企業4.0 (e4.0) 的應用技術專家；黎先生熟悉數碼市場趨勢，並擁有豐富的本地與海外業務拓展經驗，銳意透過生產力局的服務協助企業升級轉型。

Before joining the Bureau of Production, Mr. Lei, a multinational company, General Electric, completed its management training programme in the Ministry of Information Technology for more than 20 years, followed by internal audits and financial affairs, and led various departments in the Greater China, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland and the United States, including aviation, finance, medical care, plastics, electricity, transport, etc., and worked to promote the development of the General Electric Company in different regions of the world, including energy storage, mining, railways, renewable energy, fire power, etc.

Mr. Lei holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering and a master's degree in computer science studies at the University of Hong Kong.

Dr Crystal Fok is currently the Director for the AIR Platform and Precision Engineering at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). She is mainly responsible for the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (A.I.R) initiative in Science Park to drive innovation and technology for reindustrialisation, especially in Construction, Logistics, Smart manufacturing and Professional Service sectors.

Prior to HKSTP, Dr Fok was a Manager at ASTRI, managing a diverse project portfolio, such as market analysis, feasibility studies, product development and technology commercialization. She was also a Consultant at the Hong Kong Productivity Council, managing the optical design team and providing consultancy service on precision manufacturing.

Dr. Hollomin is now the Director General of Artificial Intelligence, Mechanical Technology and Fine Engineering of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. She blames the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park for new programs related to Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Technology, and for promoting innovative technologies related to re-industrialization in Hong Kong, mainly in the fields of construction, logistics, smart production and professional services.

Dr. Huo, former manager of the Hong Kong Institute of Technology and Technology, was responsible for market analysis, feasibility studies, product development, and the commercialization of technology. Eddie Chan is a seasoned E-Commerce & Digital Marketing executive with solid cross-industry experience in accelerating corporates’ digital transformation and e-Commerce development in Greater China region for Fortune top 500 companies, namely Cathay Pacific Airways, Marriott International, Sands China & Walmart Inc, etc. Proven experience in developing a seamless customer journey, optimizing business online & omni-channel transformation. Mr Dyson Yu is a long-time digital veteran and pioneer with more than 20 years of experience in digital commerce gained from multinationals in APAC leadership roles. He is currently with Wynn Resorts in Macau, leading its digital function to drive customer acquisition, e-commerce sales and brand preference. He was previously with Marriott International spearheading a region-wide digital distribution agenda, and with The Walt Disney Company in various managerial positions across e-commerce, television media and technology. He is a frequent international speaker on digital strategy. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Henley Business School, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Hong Kong specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Mr. Raymond Chan Wing Fung is well-known as the founder of the first virtual banking, inMotion of CITIC Bank, the first ever remote account opening in Hong Kong to do without physical branch, wet signature and address proof.
He is currently Managing Director of 9F International, a subsidiary of 9F Group (NASDAQ: JFU), and is responsible for applying financial licences, including Virtual Bank licenses in Hong Kong, Singapore, Lithuania and China. He is also responsible for “Tech Enabling” businesses in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia markets.

Raymond has been working in the banking industry for more than 25 years, with 20 years in management positions from HSBC, Standard Chartered, ICBC to CITIC.

Raymond received Bachelor of Science (Engineering) - Electronics from University of Hong Kong, MBA from Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow Member of HKRFP and Full Member of IEEE, HKIB, HKCS, HKIoD and HKMA and has professional designations include HKRFP, PMgr, CFT (Certified Financial Technologist), CFT? Mr. Chen Yingfeng is the first virtual banking service in Hong Kong: for the first time in Hong Kong's history, the founder of Sino-Trust Bank inMotion was able to open a bank account remotely without the need for a personal branch, signature and address certificate.

Driven, strategic and forward-thinking leader with more than 20 years’ experience in marketing, business development and digital business with multiple geographic experience including US, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. Maggie has proven capability to drive robust strategy and build market first digital capabilities including internet banking, mobile banking app, Apple watch app, NFC mobile wallet and AI enabled chatbot among many others.
