2015 年 7 月 30 日，以太坊启动第一个里程碑「前沿」；经历 5 年迭代升级，从「家园」到「大都会」；去年以太坊开始交付规划的最后一个里程碑「宁静」，也就是大家常说的 Eth2。

普通用户想要参与 Eth2 质押挖矿，有多种方案可选择：

- 非托管方案：用户自持私钥，专业服务商运行 Eth2 节点。风险和操作门槛平衡。

then why are you involved in Eth2 pledge mining? On the one hand, participation in pledge mining has a steady return. On the other hand, one of the goals of Eth2 upgrades is PoS, and the pledge node (certifier) in the PoS mechanism is equivalent to the miner in the PoW mechanism, and the more many are involved, the more centralized it is, the more secure it is in the Taipan network. 目前 Eth1 作为以太坊执行层，Eth2 作为以太坊 PoS 共识层。参与 Eth2 质押挖矿，需要在以太坊执行层（Eth1）抵押 ETH，并运行 PoS 共识层（Eth2）的验证人节点。而且质押的 ETH 需要等待以太坊执行层和共识层合并后才能赎回，合并时间预计在今年年底或明年年初。
Eth1 is currently used as the Taihouse Implementation Level, Eth2 as the Pacific Pos Consensus Level. Participation in Eth2 pledge mining requires Eth1 enforcement level mortgage ETH and running the Pos Consensus Level (Eth2) certifying person node. is expected to be redeemed at the end of this year or early next year.
关于合并之后的路线图和质押挖矿赎回的时间一直不是很清晰，近期 Vitalik 在 ETHGlobal Merge 峰会上分享了合并之后的路线图：
The road map following the merger and the time of the pledge for the recovery of the mine has been unclear. Vitalik recently shared the post-merger road map at the ETHGLOBAL Merge Summit:
- 合并后的清理工作
- 解决 PoW 和 PoS 混合模型不必要的遗留功能，同时这个阶段开启赎回质押的 ETH 的功能。
- 分片和 Rollup
- 划分 64 个分片并行处理交易和数据，配合 Rollup 进一步压缩交易并减少分片交易量，分片 + Rollup 有望解决手续费高和网络拥堵的问题。
- 安全改进
- 增加隐私功能，隐藏区块提议验证人的身份；
- 支持 VDF，确保分配验证人的随机性，使作恶者更难破坏网络。?
- 无状态与状态有效期
- 解决以太坊状态爆炸的问题，目前有两种方案：
- 无状态（Statelessness），创建两个不同的以太坊节点类型。有些节点没有存储状态数据的责任，而另一些将负责存储所有状态数据。
- 状态有效期，通过存档已存在一年以上的状态来减轻状态爆炸。?
- 更多升级
- Casper CBC
- 信标链和 EVM 层支持 SNARK 有效性证明，简化分片的执行，也让 ZK Rollup 方案成本更低
- 抵御量子攻击等
值得注意的是，以太坊一直在尝试通过密码学上的创新解决区块链不可能三角问题，而 Rollup 是重要的一环，zkSync 2.0、Optimism 和 StarkNet 等 Rollup 方案的正式上线，将 Eth2 形成协同效应，共同解决区块链不可能三角问题。
It is worth noting that Ether has been trying to solve the problem of the non-triangulation of the block chain through crypto-based innovations, while Rollup is an important part of the formal upline of the Rollup programmes, such as zkSync 2.0, Optim and StarkNet, which brings together Eth2 into synergy and solves the problem of the non-triangulation of the block chain.
Vitalik 以太坊合并后的未来路线图建议方案非常宏大，也提到 SNARK 的部分可以用 Eth3 来描述，可以预见这些升级需要三到五年才能完成。当前以太坊通过 Eth2 升级到 PoS 是新的起点，而不是终点。我们也非常期待以太坊最终完成世界计算机的构想，成为未来金融的基础设施。
Vitalik’s proposed future road map after Tai-Fan's merger is ambitious, and the reference to SNARK can be described as Eth3 and can be expected to take three to five years to complete these upgrades. The current upgrade to Pos through Eth2 is a new starting point, not an end point. We also very much hope that Tai-Fan will finally complete the idea of a world computer and become a future financial infrastructure.
