直追“微软+英伟达”？瑞波CEO：加密货币市场总市值年底将翻番

In a recent media interview, Brad Garlinghouse, Chief Executive Officer of Ripple, Inc., Inc., Inc., Inc., Inc. (ed. ) April 8, (ed. ) stated that the total market value of the encrypted currency market would be over $5 trillion this year.

Garlinghouse称，他预计整个加密货币市场的市值将翻番，他列举了一些宏观因素，包括年初美国现货比特币ETF的上市获批，以及即将到来的所谓比特币“减半”。

Garlinghouse stated that he expected the market value of the entire encrypted currency market to double, citing a number of macro-factors, including the approval of the United States spot bitcoin ETF at the beginning of the year, and the forthcoming so-called bitcoin “half by half”.

Garlinghouse said, “I've been working in this industry for a long time, and I've seen these trends rise and fall. I'm very optimistic. I think that macro-trends — such as the spot ETF listing in Bitcoin — are pushing real institutional capital for the first time into currency circles.”

Garlinghouse says, “You see that this boosts demand, while supply is decreasing at the same time as demand increases. There is no need for economics professionals to tell you what happens when demand expands when supply shrinks.”

On 10 January of this year, the US Securities and Exchange Commission approved the first listing applications for the United States current Bitcoin ETF variety. They are allowed to trade on the US Stock Exchange, where a large number of agencies and bulk investors can access the risk exposure of the most encrypted currencies without the need for direct possession of bitcoin.

比特币减半则是比特币历史上大约每四年发生一次的技术事件。比特币的发行受设计限制——大约每四年，挖矿奖励“减半”，实际上也减半了新代币的发行数量。上一次减半发生在2020年，而下一次就将在本月晚些时候发生。

The halving of bitcoin is a technological event that occurred approximately every four years in Bitcoin’s history. Bitcoin is designed to be issued – roughly every four years, with a “half” incentive to mine, which actually halves the amount of new money issued. The last halving occurred in 2020, and the next one will happen later this month.

“The overall market value of the crypto-currency sector... is expected to easily double by the end of this year because the market is being affected by all these macro-factors,” Garlinghouse says.

statistics show that the total market value of the encrypted currency market as of 4 April is approximately $2.6 trillion. If the market size doubles, this means that the total market value of the encrypted currency will reach $5.2 trillion. This is close to the current booming market value of Microsoft and British Wedg and — currently around $3.1 trillion and British Wedge $2.2 trillion.

比特币在过去12个月中已累计上涨了逾140%。根据CoinGecko的数据，比特币在3月13日曾创下了逾73000美元的历史新高。不过，此后比特币价格已跌至了远低于7万美元的水平。截至4月初，比特币市值占到了整个加密货币市场的“半壁江山”，约为1.36万亿美元。

Bitcoin has increased cumulatively by more than 140% over the past 12 months. According to CoinGecko, Bitco had reached an historic high of over $73,000 on 13 March.

未来美国监管也将对币圈更为友好？

The future U.S. regulation will also be more friendly to the currency circle?

Garlinghouse还表示，有望推动加密货币市场创下新高的另一因素，将是美国可能出现对行业更为友好的监管势头。

Garlinghouse also indicated that another factor that is expected to contribute to a new high in the crypto-currency market would be the possibility of a more industry-friendly regulatory momentum in the United States.

今年是美国大选年，不少加密货币的从业者正乐观地认为，下一届美国政府的政策重点将更有利于加密货币行业。

This is the year of the United States general election, and a number of cryptographic currency practitioners are optimistic that the policy focus of the next United States Administration will be more favourable to the cryptographic currency industry.

现任主席加里-根斯勒（Gary Gensler）领导下的美国证券交易委员会(SEC)，近年来对加密货币公司(包括瑞波公司本身)的监管执法其实一直颇为严格。SEC此前曾针对瑞波公司提起过证券诉讼，指控其在未注册的证券交易中非法出售与瑞波公司密切相关的加密货币瑞波币(XRP)。瑞波公司否认了这一指控，并正在抗诉。

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), led by the current Chairman, Gary Gensler, has in recent years been quite rigorous in its regulatory enforcement of cryptographic money companies, including Ripper itself. The SEC has previously filed a securities suit against Rapo alleging that it illegally sold the encoded currency Ribbon (XRP), which is closely linked to Ribo, in unregistered securities transactions.

值得一提的是，Garlinghouse并不是唯一一个预测今年加密货币市场将出现巨额获利的币圈大牛。

It is worth noting that Garlinghouse is not the only one who predicts a huge gain in the encoded currency market this year.

美国加密货币交易所Gemini的首席运营官Marshall Beard最近在伦敦的一场加密货币会议上也表示，他预计今年晚些时候比特币价格将进一步翻倍上涨到15万美元。

Marshall Beard, Chief Operating Officer of Gemini, the United States crypto-currency exchange, also recently stated at an encrypted currency conference in London that he expected the price of Bitcoin to double further to $150,000 later this year.
