消息面上，美图公司昨日公告称，公司3月5日斥资4000万美元购买了加密货币。
According to the information received, the company announced yesterday that it had spent $40 million on 5 March on the purchase of encrypted currency.
美图公司董事长蔡文胜表示：“这应该算港股第一家购买比特币的上市公司吧，也算是全球第一家上市公司把以太坊作为货币价值储备。”
“This should be the first listed company in the Hong Kong stock to buy bitcoin, and the first listed company in the world to reserve the value of the money with the Taiyo.”
此前，特斯拉宣布购买比特币，曾在1个多月时间里，账面浮赢超13亿美元。
Previously, Tesla had announced the purchase of bitcoin, which had cost more than $1.3 billion over a period of more than a month.
业内人士表示，上市公司利用自有资金投资比特币是一种正常的投资行为，但从长期发展角度而言，公司业绩增长带来的利润增长，才是支撑公司股价上涨的核心要素。
According to industry sources, the use by listed companies of their own funds to invest in Bitcoin is a normal investment activity, but from a long-term development perspective, the growth of profits resulting from the growth in the performance of is the central factor underpinning the rise in the company's share price.
4000万美元购入加密货币
$40 million to purchase encrypted currency
3月7日，美图公司发布公告称，集团于2021年3月5日在公开市场交易中购买了15000单位的以太币和379.1214267单位的比特币，这两种加密货币的总对价分别约为2210万美元和1790万美元。
On 7 March, Mets announced that on 5 March 2021 the Consortium had purchased 15,000 units of NT and 379,14267 units of bitcoins in open market transactions, with a total value of approximately $22.1 million and $17.9 million respectively for both encrypted currencies.
公告显示，此次购买是根据董事会先前批准的一项加密货币投资计划进行的，据此集团可以购买净额不超过1亿美元的加密货币，其资金来源为公司现有的现金储备（但非公司首次公开发行所得的余下款项）。
According to the bulletin, the purchase was made in accordance with an encrypted monetary investment plan previously approved by the Board of Directors, whereby the group could purchase a net amount of up to $100 million in encrypted currency, financed by the cash reserves available to the company (but not the balance from the company's first public release).
美图董事会认为，加密货币具有足够的升值空间，并且在此时通过将其部分现金储备金分配到加密货币，可以用作资金管理中分散持有现金的风险（由于全球各国央行在资金管理方面大幅度增加货币供应量而产生的贬值压力）。

Assetdash data show that the market value of Bitcoin has exceeded $940 billion, exceeding the market value of the two major Internet players in the country, Ali Baba.
资金涌入币圈
美图公司并非第一家购买加密货币的上市公司。2月8日，特斯拉在提交给美国证券交易委员会（SEC）的文件中披露，公司1月购买了15亿美元的比特币。
Metsca is not the first listed company to purchase encrypted currency. On 8 February, Tesla disclosed in a paper submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it purchased $1.5 billion in bitcoins in January.
2021年1月以来，比特币价格最低为30407.13美元，最高一度达57489.16美元，涨幅超89%。这也意味着，如果特斯拉持有比特币的数量不变，账面浮盈可能最高超过13亿美元。特斯拉2020年年报显示，2020年全年公司GAAP净利润为7.21亿美元。
Since January 2021, Bitcoin prices have been at a low of US$ 30407.13 and at a peak of US$ 57,489.16, an increase of more than 89 per cent. This also means that if Tesla holds the same amount of bitcoins, the book surplus may exceed US$ 1.3 billion. Tesla's 2020 report shows that the company GAAP's net profit for the whole year 2020 was US$ 721 million.

The stock price of Mets rose by 14.39 per cent on 8 March, but then fell rapidly. As at 1400 Beijing time on 8 March, the share price had increased by 1.85 per cent.
业内人士表示，上市公司利用自有资金投资比特币是一种正常的投资行为，比特币价格上涨，能够为公司带来超额投资回报，增厚公司利润。但从长期发展角度而言，公司业绩增长带来的利润增长，才是支撑公司股价上涨的核心要素。
According to industry sources, a listed company’s use of its own capital to invest in bitcoin is a normal investment behaviour, and the price increase in bitcoin can generate over-investment returns for the company and increase corporate profits. But, from a long-term development perspective, the growth in profits resulting from the growth of corporate performance is the central factor underpinning the rise in corporate stock prices.
