负面消息缠身的加密货币矿机厂商比特大陆，想要再次穿越熊市并不容易。
It is not easy to cross the bear market again, as the crypto-money-mining company, Bitland, entangled by negative news.
近日，有媒体报道称，比特大陆2018年第三季度亏损5亿美元。2018年底至今年，比特大陆大幅裁员50%。比特大陆对《华夏时报》记者回应道，2018年末只是进行了正常的人员调整，近期并未有新的调整动作。
Recently, media reports reported that Bitland lost $500 million in the third quarter of 2018. By the end of 2018 and up to the present year, Bitland had been significantly downsized by 50 per cent. By the end of 2018, Bitland responded to the reporter of the summer Times that only normal staffing adjustments had taken place, and that there had been no new adjustments in recent times.

There have been rumours of downsizing of the Bit continent since late 2018. On 14 January, Bitland announced the closure of offices in the Netherlands, further reducing overseas operations, and issued a statement that its long-term scalable business strategy was the main reason for the closure of Dutch operations. “As we build long-term, sustainable and scalable operations, we are making adjustments to our staff and operations. This includes the decision to close our offices in Amsterdam and Israel... Our real concern is at the heart of our mission, not at the side.”

At the same time, rumours of layoffs have spread in the mainland China region. The huge losses, the marginal decline of the main business, and the road to market in the continent of Bits are far from over.
据2月19日CoinDesk报道，比特大陆2018年第三季度亏损达到5亿美元。近日比特大陆向港交所(HKEx)提交的一份最新财务报告显示，比特大陆2018年前九个月的收入约为5亿美元，总收入略高于30亿美元。而比特大陆去年9月提交的招股说明书披露，该公司在2018年上半年的利润总额为10亿美元。由此可见，比特大陆2018年第三季度的净亏损约为5亿美元。
On 19 February, CoinDesk reported a loss of $500 million in the third quarter of 2018 on the Bit continent. A recent financial report submitted by the Bit continent to the Portside Office (HKEx) showed that the Bit continent had an income of approximately $500 million in the first nine months of 2018, with a total revenue of just over $3 billion.
在2018年下半年，比特大陆持续亏损的同时，也惹上了一场官司。2018年11月，美国洛杉矶地区的比特大陆ASIC矿机购买者集体起诉比特大陆，声称该公司在未经授权的情况下，从其矿机设备设置所需的漫长的“初始化”期间获益，累计高达500万美元。
In the second half of 2018, the continued losses in Bitland were accompanied by a lawsuit. In November 2018, buyers of ASIC miners in the United States of America’s Los Angeles region sued Bitland collectively, claiming that the company had benefited, without authorization, from the long period of “initialization” required for the installation of its mine equipment, amounting to up to $5 million.

The petition referred to the fact that from the moment the plaintiff purchased the ASIC equipment, the miner was digging for the encrypted currency and transferring it to the defendant's land of Bit. This continued until the equipment was linked to the buyer's personal account. The case is currently under consideration. According to the pre-IPO offer, overseas sales accounted for 51.8 per cent of its total revenue in 2017.

Jiang Chihua said, “No comment” on the current progress of IPOs on the Bit continent. Indeed, there is little positive response from the Bit continent to all external voices and reports.
