eth0/0/1的意思是eth0号网卡0号板卡的1号端口。
Eth0/0/1 means port No. 1 of Net Card No. Eth0, card No. 0.
eth0/0/1，多出现于交换机等设备，分开看的。eth0表示0号物理网卡。0/1表示的0板卡1号端口。在路由器交换机等设备中，会有很多的接口和把卡的情况，为了应对这种情况，设计人员对网卡板卡进行了划分，比如eth1/2/3，表示eth1号网卡的的2号板卡，3号端口。由于计算机所用与0开始，交换的编号也采用的这种设计，所以0是放在第一位的。

发送时将上一层交下来的数据加上首部和尾部，成为以太网的帧。接收时将以太网的帧剥去首部和尾部，然后送交上一层。
主要是CSMA/CD（Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Detection ，带冲突检测的载波监听多路访问）协议的实现。
